jumbled little post

1. two days ago, i was eating my usual dinner when mum called to tell me that i have received an invitation from golden key international honour society. i was like huh? what's that? sounded to me like i've won something from a treasure hunt. anyway, i was over the moon when i found out that it's an ngo, charitable society in which high-performing academic students ceh perasan! were invited to join. lotsa benefits such as scholarships and stuff. i have won lucky draws several times but this beats winning all of those draws added up!

i call it my 21st birthday golden key as it falls short of my birthday to come in 11 days' time!

i have no idea why this picture is so long
2. yesterday, i was strolling around pyramid with jeanee and michele for our usual 5-hour-break-lepak session in between classes and i noticed that the shoulder strap of my beloved f21 blue round-studded bag was tearing. i was so heart-broken! and i still am! it was the first bag that i have ever fell deeply in love with, unwilling to change it like my other bags and have used it for months since i first used it. *sob sob*

but then, as i have made up (half) my mind to get a dslr, i figured that i am going to need a bigger handbag to stuff it in. i dont want to carry a dslr around my neck, cuz there is where i hang my pretty possessions, ie. necklaces. anyway, i remembered asking my housemate where she got her tan-coloured slouchy shoulder bag, and she said mango. so there was where i searched. and there was where i found this baby. i havent seen the actual bag yet, but at rm189, i think it's worth buying, if it's big enough. and if they have it in tan or dark-coloured leather.

3. today is yujia's last day in malaysia before she goes back home to china for mid sem break. since it's two days before her birthday, i bought her cookies from famous amos. these raisin oatmeal cookies are heavenly. the best thing is that they are bite-sized, it's just so much easier to pop them into our mouths without having the hassle of holding it in our hands when we chew.

she's in holiday mode now, and it's not appropriate because there are two assignments waiting to be done before their due date in two weeks' time. oh dear, developmental psychology and authorship. hi ainsworth and bowlby, freud and shelley.

oh and happy april's fool!
