finally back at home from bali! am in the process of transferring all the 400 photos from my old canon dc and 1600++ pics from dad's nikon to my pc. but where to save all these many pictures? it'll slow down my pc, almost 2000 pictures in all. in the meantime, some snapshots from my canon.

reporting from bali

arrived safely at denpasar airport at around 2pm and checked in into this wonderfully beautiful hotel called The Haven. what a suitable name for a place just as peaceful as the heavens itself.

sunglasses and sunflowers,they have the sun

flying off to bali in another 7 hours with the family. cant wait to sight-see there and take loads of pictures. hope that the memory card with petty storage is sufficient for all that is to photograph. will be back 4 days later. in the meantime Faith is at his home, under the care of his sister. hope she doesnt freak out with the too many cats and too many dogs roaming freely around the house. be good Faith!

she's gonna off her lappie now and wake up at 4am. she hopes for the best weather, best plane ride, best scenery, best trip, best everything! most importantly she hopes not to get any tanner. and she hopes for all the best for Faith, whom she already starts to miss dearly.

the year of the tiger + vday gifts

chinese new year this year was very special. cousins, aunties and uncles from singapore and everywhere else came back for the celebration. apart from the weather being too hot to be bearable, all was fun and fulfilling; which in this includes the food and the angpaus :)

these pictures are from the past four days of new year, including new year's eve spent at my father's hometown sungai petani. that place is so awesome with its old buildings with its paints almost cracked and nice yellow and orange colours that can seldom be seen in modern ones. so, taking photos there was a must, and still is.

day 2 was all about mahjong,

relatives from everywhere, and

yee sang!

the flurry of hands tossing the yee sang

after all the fun we had, they had to go back home somehow, when and where life returns to normal.

on the side note, my current finds that i'm unhealthily obsessed over,

burgundy sheer lace dress, red high waist skirt with belt, gigantic turquoise ring (vday gift from him) -- all from f21, and ferrero the huge dog (also a vday gift from him)

she hope that everyone had as splendid a chinese new year and valentines just as she had. happy cny and belated vday to all.

yesterday was thursday,

so i baked fruit cakes with my sis from the fruit cake mix from a chinese new year hamper given to mum, fed and played and got mad with Faith that has recently gone crazy, took some random pictures and photoshopped some.

especially love the second and last picture :)

she has no idea why she edited all the redness into the photos, but she suspect maybe it has to do with the upcoming chinese new year in another two days.

festive anticipation

is anyone in chinese new year mood yet? i know i already am :) with all the junk food to eat and new clothes to wear out, annual family gatherings and the angpaus to receive, what's not to anticipate?

even baby Faith is all geared up for chinese new year with her new yellow and red blanky. it's dad's old towel, but what she doesnt know wont kill her:)
