lights, camera, action!

Shit!
there was this massive blackout last night around our area. mum said TNB were doing some maintenance thingie. before we stress out and groan and whine about how are we gonna sleep without aircond on this hot, humid malaysia's summer night, dad, sis and me decided to play around with the camera.

experienced with the shutter speed thingie, dad was giving this long lecture about how shutters work. don't ask me i still do not have any clue how it works.

if you are not fluent in mandarin, this says "shit", -- or "poop"

how can we not end such a fun, electricity-deficit night with a smile?

just came back from the airport sending mum off to kl. we were there almost 30 mins too early. the only activity left to do was to shop *grins braodly* we found this humble-looking little shop at the entrance selling dresses with nice, intricately designed flowy fabrics.

tried on a maxi dress. didn't think that a shortie like me could get away with wearing a maxi dress and not look overwhelmed! bought 2 dresses and mum bought a star printed casual scarf. talk about spontaneity!
