new gadget and a cake

just had my first lecture of the new semester. new semester means new clothes, new classmates, new experiences, and a new phone *wink*

i duno why this pic turned out upside down, stupid computer lab computer. anyway, the story of how at first i wanted the nokia 5800 and ended up with this htc baby is very long. and tiring. let's just say that i was conned by someone. but i am starting to love the touch screen feeling :)

this is what i made for his birthday, apple blueberry butter cake.
the black bits are not burnt parts (not all are, some anyway) they are blueberry filling. the apple and blueberry filling are not supposed to end up at the bottom of the cake! they are supposed to be on top!

i scooped on too much blueberry filling, the top got too heavy and it all sank to the bottom. that's our hypothesis. other than it being ugly, it was actually very tasty! yum yum


before it landed in our stomachs.

2pm is my next class. psychology, again. i am having 3 psyche units this semester and i hope i could cope. i almost fell asleep during my first social psychology lecture, and dr. shamsul's weird accent did nothing to change the drowsiness. i need my comfy bed at home now...
