the year of the tiger + vday gifts

chinese new year this year was very special. cousins, aunties and uncles from singapore and everywhere else came back for the celebration. apart from the weather being too hot to be bearable, all was fun and fulfilling; which in this includes the food and the angpaus :)

these pictures are from the past four days of new year, including new year's eve spent at my father's hometown sungai petani. that place is so awesome with its old buildings with its paints almost cracked and nice yellow and orange colours that can seldom be seen in modern ones. so, taking photos there was a must, and still is.

day 2 was all about mahjong,

relatives from everywhere, and

yee sang!

the flurry of hands tossing the yee sang

after all the fun we had, they had to go back home somehow, when and where life returns to normal.

on the side note, my current finds that i'm unhealthily obsessed over,

burgundy sheer lace dress, red high waist skirt with belt, gigantic turquoise ring (vday gift from him) -- all from f21, and ferrero the huge dog (also a vday gift from him)
