count our blessings

we almost died today, on the way back from kay elle after furiously packing up my stuff from that deserted unit in lagoonview; the unit that i have been staying in for one and a half months that is now infested by armies of ants. anyway, that's another novel all by itself. the point is, we almost died, by rolling down a hill, in our car.

dad was driving down sg perak from ipoh along this winding mountainous road, and it was raining. dad wanted to swerve to avoid a wira, and he ended up smashing into the divider on the left side of the road. luckily the car stopped in time, any further it went and we will be rolling down the hilltop, and could have died. there and then.

phew. i think dad is still shocked from everything, but thank god that no-one's hurt. i promise to not kill ants on purpose anymore. to accumulate more karma, to do good. but i cant promise the same thing with spiders and cockroaches.

thank god(dess of mercy) and our accumulated karma that we are still in one piece and unhurt. and that i am still able to sit here and blog, that dad is still watching tv downstairs like yesterday and the yesterdays before it; that mum is still able to gasp at the venomous jellyfish on animal planet, and that hui is still as forever glued to the internet in search of anything zhang yun jing.
