fluctuations

finished two papers, next one's this coming monday. exam period is making me lose all my passion for the interests i have, which was why i took communications and psychology in the first place; writing, and trying to understand people. but i will keep trying, and be sure i will survive, although i just threw away 12 marks into the bin yesterday not being able to finish my public relations last essay question.

taking pictures sure help to cast my cloudy mood away. whenever i feel under-motivated, randomly pointing the lens at almost anything in my little room helps to bring inspiration back. the world looks less depressing through a viewfinder and a camera screen at times i guess.

but then, every cloud has a silver lining, right? that much needed ray of light in a dark cave comes in any form and size; a jay chou song, ferrero the huge dog plushie or a new-found old toy from the lovely sister ages ago, intricate details on a bag, sunshine colours of a new top, macaroni with oats, crushed cereals and almond flakes sprinkled on top, the voices of people i love through the phone. anything at all.

yes, down times passes, and when the rain stops, the cut on my tongue caused by an awfully sour kiwi heals, and when finals finally ends next friday, there will be beautifully bright blue skies ahead. like this one of bali in february.

she will survive the storm, thrive through harsh winds, swim against rough waves.
