these days

i feel quite uninspired, i have no idea why. i dont feel like writing too much here, maybe it's because i did a lot of writing and typing already for the assignments. i very much prefer expressing my feelings through pictures, and through dressing myself up, for class.

i have been feeling very spring-y lately,
on tuesday i wore a dress to class;

yesterday a soft flowy tube top layered with a comfy cardigan,

and today a white eyelet tunic top with floral shorts,

paired with minimal accesories. but i stacked up on the bracelets today as i felt more hippy than usual.

and i get hungry easily, but am lazy to budge or cook, even instant noodles or pasta. so i made these toast for dinner. i craved for meat floss and tuna sandwich so i spread one half of the bread with tuna, and the other half sprinkled with meat floss. not to forget the cheese.

and i still feel hungry now.

she is uninspired up to the point that she is not quite worried for her last assignment of this semester which is due next wednesday. she just feel like curling up to a cozy corner and read some of the books she have been dying to read but does not have the time to since the start of all these assignment rushes.

i am still alive

and kicking, in fact. but not for long. because i still have an ethics report due this coming wednesday. late nights are my best friends now. but after handing in my public relations proposal this afternoon, at least a portion of the burden has been thrown off my shoulders.

anyway, today i got the pictures that yujia took last week in italiannies! there were lots of pictures of us, unlike mine that consisted mainly of food and random stuffs. it was not my first time there, but one wonders why is it so that when you are with your bunch of best friends, everything seems so new and interesting? like the mural painting, we took turns posing before it hehe

it has been a long while since i posted what i wore, so here goes, one of me that i like very much, acting all pro. thanks yujia :D

dad's old shirt over an mng basic spaghetti top, f21 ankle length skinnies, gap belt and my trusty carlo rino wedges. with an owl necklace, and f21 and vincci rings.

i really love all these pictures from yujia's point of view, to me it seemed to capture the moments spontaneously, and beautifully.

i won that last piece cuz my mouth was bigger. heh,

and embarrassingly uncivilized pictures like this, which was only one out of a series of almost 20 pictures of me and rita playing with cutleries. dont try this at home, or any other restaurants, it's rude. but as i said when you are with your best friends, i guess there are always exceptions to the rules?

last but not least, all of us being posey-posey in front of their "eat, drink and be italian" wall. why eat drink and be italian i wonder?

she's gonna hit the sack early tonight, and hopefully wake up earlier tomorrow morning to start working on that ethics report. night all!

happy mothers' day

so i was late, that was because i was so terribly bound by the burden of planning a hypothetical awareness campaign for my public relations case study. and it really sucks. but it will be over and done with on friday hehe! so, HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY MUMMY! i know she wont be happy i put up this picture of us, because it was almost 20 years ago, with the hair and the glasses. but nerd glasses are back in trend now, isnt it? and she looked cute doesnt she?

and i was totally speechless when he gave me this swarovski necklace as a be-very-lated birthday present. it was sparkly and all, and i bet it cost him a bomb, so i was pained that he spent all his hard-earned/saved money on it. but on the other hand, it was still very sweet of him to do that. that's the paradox of it all, i guess.

lunch today, salmon don, and all other things salmon. we just love our salmon.

these pictures (except the first, it was scanned) were taken with his and my htc's due to my stupidness of taking the d60 along with me but left the sd card chucked to my laptop's card reader. i rock, hah.

yesterday

the usual company and the usual lunch together on fridays after public relations lecture, this time it was my treat at italiannies. i say, they are one of the more camera-friendly restaurants around; waiters would gladly wait at the bottom of the stairs when we were sitting there taking portraits of each other, and even help us take a group photo in front of their eat, drink and be italian wall.

their 2 course meal menu was so cheap and in such big portions that the four of us ordered only 2 sets. their smoothies were heavenly. i only have a few pictures on my drive now, so the complete set would have to wait.

and i sunk my teeth for the first time into a krispy kreme doughnut, it was only sensible for me to document this historical moment hehe i had to withhold my eagerness to chow it down to take a few pictures of it first before gobbling it up in record-breaking time.

more pictures to come next week as most of the "fun, scandalous" moments were captured on yujia's cam. now back to cracking my brain thinking how in the world would i plan a hypothetical "curb discrimination against transsexuals" awareness campaign for my public relations case study.

brighten up

i have been feeling rather unwell the past 2 days due to the changing weather here at sunway and at home in penang. this second it's hot like an oven but it rains cats and dogs the next, then all of a sudden the rain stops and the sun shines like it had never shone before. so, yea, my nose and throat suffered, and i too. what better excuse to wear a bright-coloured, whimsical-print top with my prized possessions than the excuse (except that it's not just an excuse) of feeling unwell?

took all these pictures with dad's d60 in exchange for the d90, and since they're all pretty random stuff, here's another picture that i love, for no reason at all. maybe it's the colour combination of the gourd and the dried-out pandan leaves against my study table.

oh, and i did fairly well on the authorship essay, i didnt fail and flop, that is. and i thank andrew for having to go through all the trouble of scrutinizing every comma and full-stop for errors, and for all the wacky commentaries he made on every single page.
